Live Nation announces its acquisition of TERO Concerts and Entertainment division, expanding its growth in Thailand. This acquisition builds further upon joint ventures between the two that launched in 2015.
Live Nation Tero was created in 2015 to promote international shows and festivals by Western artists and bring regional acts to Thailand. With the new acquisition of the Thailand-based TERO Concerts and Entertainment (C&E) division, Live Nation Tero cements itself as a powerhouse ready to cover an extensive roster of international and domestic talent.
Established in 1998, TERO C&E leads domestic touring, exhibitions, family entertainment, artist management, and musicals within Thailand. The company has well-established family entertainment activity in its diversified regional content, headed by a solid twenty-plus-year partnership with the Disney on Ice franchise.
Revenue from domestic artist shows across Thailand is estimated to snowball between 2022 and 2025. This deal brings a respected domestic promoter to a critical Asian market, expanding Live Nation’s regional reach. Additionally, it deepens Live Nation’s strategy to offer new event opportunities to brand partners in the area, including Marriot Hotels, Mercedes, Pepsi, Samsung, and Toyota.
