NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Oct. 26, 2022 include LeBron James

After splitting two games with the Heat in Miami, the Toronto Raptors are back at home after a day off but face a tough matchup against a Philadelphia 76ers team that just notched its first win of the season. The Raptors dominated the season series between the two last year, and won three-of-four against Philly. Pascal Siakam averaged 30.3 points against the 76ers in three starts, with 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists, but should you target him in NBA DFS lineups on Wednesday?

Siakam is off to a solid start this year, as he is shooting 47.6% from the field and averaging 26.5 points with 10 rebounds per game. Another name to keep in mind when scanning the NBA DFS player pool is Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet, who only played one game against the Sixers last year but dropped 32 points and seven assists in that start. Before you make your NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Tuesday, he highlighted Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Doncic scored 37 points with 11 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block to return 68.25 points on DraftKings and 66.7 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Wednesday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, October 26

For Wednesday, one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Lakers forward LeBron James, who is listed at $9,900 on DraftKings and $10,700 on FanDuel. James is off to a fast start this season and has scored 31 points in two of his three games so far. Against the Trail Blazers on Sunday, he finished with eight rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks in addition to one of those 31-point showings.

The winless Lakers have felt like they’ve been in a tailspin since last season and need a win in the worst way. That’s not going to be easy on Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets and reigning two-time league MVP Nikola Jokic. However, in two games against the Nuggets last season, James managed to find ways to produce and averaged 25 points with nine rebounds.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Spurs G/F Josh Richardson ($3,900 on DraftKings and $4,600 on FanDuel). Richardson is in line to make his first start of the season for San Antonio as Devin Vassell (knee) is out tonight at Minnesota. The Spurs played Minnesota on Monday night as well, and Richardson hit four of his seven shots and grabbed three rebounds in San Antonio’s nine-point win.

Over his last three games, Richardson has drained 55.2 percent of his shots, and he started that run with a breakout performance against the Pacers last Friday. Against Indiana, Richardson scored 27 points and made 8-of-13 three-point attempts. Vassell scored 23 points on Monday against the Timberwolves in 33 minutes, so there are points to be found in the backcourt against Minnesota, and Richardson will have every chance to score them on Wednesday.
